Please enjoy a handful of photos taken during the recording of When You Smile!

When You Smile was recorded at...
This was an especially fun album to record as Steve, Todd, and I flew down to Nashville to crash through the songs and catch up with our wonderful friend, bass-player and studio engineer Mark Lange.
Hey! I'm in Nashville!
Ummm... Mark, have you seen my accordion?
Next to arrive... Mr. Steve Lee!
Steve Lee Rule #1 - Smile.
Steve Lee Rule #2 -
When smiling doesn't work, grimace.
And finally... Mr. Todd (T.B.) Babbitt!
Make no mistake. Todd came to PLAY!
Todd Babbitt Rule #1 - Think.
Todd Babbitt Rule #2 - Think some more.
Todd Babbitt Rule #3 -
You can never have too many guitars.
Eric Ode Rule #1 - Coffee.
Mark Lange Rule #1 - Everyone wants to be a drummer.
Mark Lange Rule #2 - When the "real" drummer has kicked you out, do what you do best. Bass!
Mark Lange Rule #3 - No album is complete until you've added strumstick!
Left and Above - Stephanie, Samantha, and Jonathan take the mic on a beautiful Nashville afternoon!
Above - Tambourine, cowbell, and accordion. All the makings of a GOOD album!
Thank you, Farida, for this photo from the release party! And thank you, Perry, for the next three.
Mark wants us to know that he loves his shoes, too.
Todd Babbitt is in the house, and he's ready to rock!
Mark is busy signing CDs and photos while Alexa waits patiently.
Steve Lee -
Prince of Percussion,
Sultan of the Snare,
Titan of the Tom,...
Well, you get the idea.
Sound man Bob. What a great guy!
