Someone Said Seymour

SOMEONE SAID SEYMOUR

Someone said that Seymour had his finger up his nose.

I heard it on the playground, and so now I do suppose

that very soon the world will hear and everyone will see

that Seymour had his finger where his finger shouldn't be.

I heard the children giggle, and their laughter sounded cruel

when someone said that Seymour picked his nose today in school.

It's absolutely clear that life will never be the same.

I think I'll move to Africa, and then I'll change my name.
