Receive the E-Newsletter! I try to get an e-newsletter out around once a month - just something to highlight upcoming events, new music and poetry releases, and whatever else seems newsworthy. I'd love to add you to the mailing list. Email addresses are always kept confidential. I never share any information you provide to me. I promise to only contact you with official announcements relating to my music and poetry.

CHILDREN'S MUSIC MUSINGS - JUNE 2008
Hello to family and friends -Welcome to Summer! I do hope yours is wonderful, relaxing, and safe and filled with plenty of family time. Around here we know it's summer because as I write this our dog, Max, is singing along with the music from the neighborhood ice cream truck! (The neighbors might think he's "baying," but Max knows differently.)
Now that a stop at the gas station first requires a visit to your neighborhood loan officer, there's a good chance you're looking for things to do in your immediate area. Summer is absolutely the time for that! Keep your eyes open for community festivals and concerts, and check with your local libraries to see what's on their schedules.
In this issue of Children's Music Musings...
* Catch the Reading Bug* Florida and Idaho programs
* The new Remlinger Farms Schedule
* This month's Creativity Quote
* The calendar
CATCH THE READING BUG
I'm traveling with a new friend this summer. Sticky the Fly has been joining me as I visit area libraries and share "Waiter, There's a Fly in My Song!," a high-participation sing-along concert. Buzz in and catch the fun!
FLORIDA AND IDAHO PROGRAMS
I could use a little help. Requests for school author/songwriter visits for the 2008/2009 year have been coming in. I will be in Parkland, Florida February 18 and 19, 2009 and would like to find additional schools in the area to add to that week. Fees for participating schools come way down as more visits get added to the trip. If you know of someone I should contact, please drop me an email or give a call. Thanks!
Secondly, I will be in Sandpoint, Idaho March 20, 2009 and would like to add to that trip as well.
CHANGES AT REMLINGER FARMS
Just a reminder that I will not be sharing music at Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA on Tuesdays and Wednesdays this summer. Also know that the farm hours have changed and that the park is now open from 10:30 to 4:30. (Here's a link to the Remlinger Farms web site: http://www.remlingerfarms.com)
By the way - the weather finally brought out some beautiful strawberries. Enjoy a U-Pick afternoon!

I hope to see you soon!
