Are you interested in seeing your stories, poems, or art work appear in magazines? It's not easy getting published, but your chances are best if you...
1) become familiar with the magazine. If you don't already receive the magazine, find out if your school library or local library carries it, and read several issues.
2) read the magazine's submission guidelines very carefully. Follow these guidelines exactly.
3) have an adult help you to make sure you are correctly submitting your work.
4) only send them your best work. Magazines receive a lot of submissions, so you'll have to work very hard if you want to get published.
Here are a handful of magazines that accept contributions from kids. Some ONLY accept work from kids! Good luck! And tell me if you get published. I want to know!
